Privacy notice

What we collect

Only the two photos you choose — your photo and a garment photo — plus the options you select. No account, name, phone number or payment details; an email address only if you add one to a feedback note. We do not run face recognition or store face data.

Before anything is uploaded

Your browser resizes each photo and removes its metadata (including location) before upload. Nothing leaves your device until you tick the consent box and press Generate.

Who processes your photos

To create a preview, your two photos are sent to one of our AI processing partners. TrialRoom chooses the partner automatically based on the garment type and availability:

• fal.ai — image models Qwen Image Edit 2511 and FLUX.2 Klein 4B. We ask fal to delete generated files after one hour.
• Hugging Face — the FASHN VTON 1.5 and sm4ll-VTON demo Spaces, used for quality testing. These public Spaces may keep temporary files in their own cache.
• Texel.Moda (via RapidAPI) — virtual try-on API.
• Decart — the Lucy Image 2 model for photo previews.

Each partner's own data handling is governed by its terms. We never ask partners to train on your photos.

How long we keep it

Your result is held in server memory, readable only with a one-time key that lives in your browser tab. It is deleted when you press Delete, and automatically within about an hour. Closing or refreshing the tab loses access to the result.

Sample images on this site

The models and garments shown on the site and offered as studio samples are AI-generated (FLUX.1-schnell, some edited with Decart Lucy Image 2). They are not real people or customers. The example try-ons (marked "Example") are real, unretouched AI previews made with Decart Lucy Image 2 on those AI-generated models. The "On the runway" film is licensed stock footage from Pixabay, marked "Stock footage"; the model in it is not a TrialRoom customer and the clip is not a TrialRoom result.

Live mirror (beta)

The live mirror streams your camera directly from your browser to Decart, our real-time AI partner, which sends back the dressed video. TrialRoom does not receive, record or store the video. Our server only issues a one-time pass that works for one session of up to a few minutes and only on this website. The camera starts after you agree and stops when you end the session or leave the page.

Hand gestures are optional. When you switch them on, hand tracking runs inside your browser on your own camera feed; those frames are not sent anywhere for tracking. Snapshots stay in your browser tab and are gone when you leave.

Importing from a link

If you paste a link (for example a Daraz or Amazon product page, or an image address), our server opens that one page or image on your request, picks the product photo, checks it and passes it straight back to your browser. It is treated exactly like a photo you uploaded: resized and stripped of metadata in your browser, and only sent for a preview if you agree. We do not keep the page, the link or the image. Only import photos you have the right to use, and only people who have agreed.

Usage counts

To learn whether TrialRoom is useful, we count a few anonymous events on our own server: page visits (with language and whether it was a phone, tablet or computer), which sample was picked, whether a preview finished and how long it took, and your optional rating. Each count is separate: there are no cookies, no user or device IDs, no IP addresses and no images, so the counts cannot be linked back to you. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the page sends no counts at all. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Feedback

If you rate a result, we keep your rating, answers and any comment you type, with the garment type — never the images, your IP address or a link back to the result. If you send general feedback, we keep the message, the optional rating, the page you were on and, only if you choose to give it, your email address so we can reply. Feedback is stored on TrialRoom's own server, used only to improve the product, and deleted on request: write to us from the email you gave or quote your message.

Only use photos you have the right to use

Upload only photos of yourself, or of someone who has given you permission. Do not upload photos of children.

Not a fit guarantee

The preview is an AI visualisation. It does not predict size or fit, and fabric detail that the photo does not show is inferred.
